Axis Education Society, a group of educational institutions in Kanpur which has been empanelled as an Assessment Agency under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and the Ibrahim International Limited , a conglomoration of textiles industry in the region and the training provider organised a progamme of Certificate Distribution Ceremony Cum Placement Drive on 23rd September, 2016 at the Auditorium of Axis Education Society at Kanpur under the Integrated Skill Development Schemes (ISDS) of Government of India.

The Chairman of Global SME DevNet Dr. P Nayak attended the first meeting of the Advisory Board on India-Commonwealth SME Association at Malborow House, Commonwealth Secretariat, London held on 1-2, September 2016 and presented the Concept Note on India-Commonwealth SME Association to the Asvisory Board.

The Chairman of Global SME DevNet Dr. P Nayak attended the second meeting of the Advisory Board on India-Commonwealth SME Association at at New Delhi on 8th Nov 2016. The meeting chaired by Dr Rashmi Banga, Adviser and Head, Trade Competitiveness Section, Commonwealth secretariat, proved a milestone towards creation of ICSA, as the board members decided on a number of issues towards institutionalizing ICSA.
